Background
CDF, which was established in 2006 under its former name Indiana Nanotech, LLC, is dedicated to advancing Dr. Robert L. Karlinsey’s innovative dental formulation systems. Dr. Karlinsey's work often receives support from industry partners and various grant awards from the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research and the State of Indiana, focusing on the development of oral care products and formulation services, as well as performance testing.

Dr. Karlinsey leads CDF's research and consultation activities related to dental formulation, including formulation development for oral care products, overall strategy (including regulatory and claim insights), testing plans and protocols, data analysis, construction of reports, and interpretation of findings. Importantly, we excel in creating brand-new dental formulations with specific aims or benefits, which critically involves intellectual property considerations.
